Hand painted Fire Guard metal Sector Point plate with sector point identification to the front and a printed form glued to reverse showing requirements for an incident . These tags were probably used by the sector control point to manage an incident. Sector Point A252 was located at 71 Montague Road, Cambridge. Good clean condition. read more
Fire Guard overlay for use with SFP armband.
The reorganisation and subseqent renaming of the Fire Guard in 1941 caused the issue of another armlet, in the interests of economy, a printed overlay was issued for stitching over the original SFP armband. This example printed on a rubberised cotton. In good used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from an armband. read more

Impressed plastic R.O.F.badge bearing the motto ' Front Line Duty' over crossed bombs and the letters ' ROF '. Two holes to the banner allowed it to be tacked onto clothing. It is believed that this badge was worn on the overalls. Badge in good condition with rubbing to the high spots. read more

Chrome and enamel pinback badge for Women's Voluntary Services ARP. This badge was announced in 1938 issued for WVS volunteers who had undertaken ARP training, it was quickly superceded the following year by a new design. Designed as a lapel badge it is commonly seen as a hat badge.

Early WVS armband in unfinished state. This style of armband was introduced in the summer of 1940 as a standard pattern for the WVS with a 100,000 being made by a London company. This example is in an unfinished state with the cotton armband overlayed on some linen as a stiffener but not yet stitched together, otherwise excellent. read more
