Single sided, 1943 dated leaflet advertising a Book Recovery and Salvage Drive held in Ilford. The books, which were intended for the Forces, restocking damaged libraries or making paper products used in munitions were intended to be deposited at the local Wardens Post or the nearest Library. Wooden collecting box for the National Y.M.C.A. War Service Fund in the shape of a hut. Featuring double illustrated faces centring the coin slots. Published by Raphael Tuck & Sons and feature 15 comic plates concentrating on wartime life each one accompanied by comic verse Ronald Frank and Amos. Scarce embroidered cotton on bluette breast badge for wear by personnel of the NFS College. The size of this badge suggests that this was intended for wear by female staff and the small hole to the centre suggests that this example was previously a sealed pattern.
