Early embroidered ' Fire Guard ' title . This style of title was adopted by the early Fire Guard organisation when they were administered by the Fire Brigades, the initial reorganisation of the Fire Guards bringing about their control by the Civil Defences services brought about the replacement of this pattern of title with examples in gold on blue embroidery. An above average example of a MkII helmet worn by an ARP Warden. Shell by BMB ( Briggs Motor Bodies ), dated 19?? with a size 6 3/4, 1939 dated Mk I liner by BMB.Neatly hand-painted ' W ' to front and rear. With some scrapes and rubs this remains one of the better examples . read more

Ministry of Food ' Pure Dried Whole Eggs ' tin. Classic wartime production with direct printing to tin indicating it's origins in the USA packed specifically for the Ministry of Food. Directions for the use of this form of powdered egg are also printed to the body. Complete with contents and in good condition with some minor bruising, associated storage corrosion to lid and fading of plating. read more

Essentially leather replicas of the 1st Issue Patt. ’37 Webbing Equipment frogs, the leather pattern '39 were on widespread issue with the Home Guard to accommodate their U.S. M-1917 Bayonets. Good, used condition with no obvious markings. read more
