Chrome and enamel lapel badge for employees of Rootes Aircraft. An individually numbered badge to enable recognition and to act as a visual pass for war workers probably at their Speke or Ryton facilities where Blenheims and Halifaxes were produced. Gilt and enamel button hole lapel badge by Thos. Fattorini, B'ham. Bright, fresh gilding with undamaged enamel, numbered to the reverse.
