1940 ed. gate fold leaflet issued by the the Ministry of Home Security ' After the Raid '. Outlines advice on war damage, food, shelter and tracing relatives. This was the provincial edition, distinct from the London edition which was printed in red and differed slightly in content. In good, used condition with some creasing and chipping to edges.

This box contained a roll of formed lead strips to be applied to windows to mitigate the effects of blast damage. Comes with tins of adhesive and full instructions, another optimistic wartime product that flooded the market in the early war. Colourful box in rather poor condition. read more

1942 leaflet entitled ' Making the Most of the Meat ', an 8pg gatefold format leaflet ' planning the meat ration for a family of four ' with different recipes for two weeks. Used condition with marking, minor tears and creasing and one tear to page 2 which has left a small section missing ( see photo ). Uncommon leaflet.
